Made possible in part by funds from the Essex County Division of Culture Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
Circle of Sparks Playback Project is seeking diverse consultants, facilitators and participants for its youth and young adult programs with organizations including the Sister to Sister Mentoring program for teenage girls at Montclair High School, Baruch College and the Kids Create for Change anti-racism program for elementary school aged children. We use storytelling, improvisation and music to support children, teena and young adults to find and explore their voices.
A stipend is available. Programs are funded by the Essex County Division of Culture Affairs.
If interested in working with an arts organization to help shape these programs to support children and teens in healthy development, please contact Elaine Molinaro at CultureConnectionTheater1@gmail.com
Diverse community members from teens to adults are encouraged. Flexible daytime or evening hours. A performing arts background is helpful but not a requirement. We will train, so no prior experience necessary.
